Case 02 · Brand & Product Vision · Ongoing
Vitality — a second venture, designed deliberately
Having fixed a practice that grew without a system, the same founder is building the next venture the opposite way — brand, product, and operating model framed before launch, not after.
Problem
The founder behind VMC is opening a second practice — and this time wants the brand, the operating model, and the product experience settled before the doors open, not patched together after growth outran them the first time.
That's a different problem from VMC's. There's no legacy system to untangle, but there's also no forgiving grace period: whatever gets decided now is what the team will inherit on day one.
Approach
I'm working brand, product vision, and operations in parallel rather than in sequence, so none of the three gets bolted onto a decision the others already made. The brand direction, the intake and booking experience, and the day-to-day workflows are being framed together, against the same set of constraints the first practice learned the hard way.
Outcome
Still underway. The direction is set; the near-term work is turning it into the same kind of low-maintenance system VMC now runs on — just built in before launch this time, instead of retrofitted after.
